What changes when we leave early access
Paid plans may arrive — we’re a small team and a small product has running costs (hosting, storage, backups). But the rule is simple:
- You will keep access to your stories. Whatever we charge later, the novels you start now stay readable, editable, and exportable — for as long as Storystruct exists.
- Your manuscripts are yours to take with you, in a clean .docx or a full JSON export, at any time.
- We will email you well in advance before any change to pricing or plans — no surprises.
In plain language: start now, keep your stories, no matter what we charge later.
Will my stories stay accessible?
Yes. The stories you write during early access stay readable and exportable. Whatever we charge for the app later, the novels you start now come with you.
What will paid plans actually pay for?
Storage and bandwidth. Stories, manuscripts, and the original feedback documents you upload are kept in EU data centres, and the more you write, the more we keep. Paid plans — if and when they arrive — will cover higher storage limits and more frequent exports. Early-access accounts will not be moved to one.
Can I export my novel?
Always. Per-chapter or per-manuscript, exported to a typeset .docx that honours your Story DNA — em-dashes, numerals, italics, scene breaks, the lot. If you ever want to leave, you can take every word with you, plus a full archive of your workspace.
What about beta-reader feedback uploads?
Unlimited. Upload as many .docx (with track changes & comments) or .md review documents per chapter as you like, up to 25 MB each. The original document and the parsed review are kept together in your account.
Where is my data stored?
In the European Union. Stories, accounts, and backups all live in EU data centers. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
Can I delete my account?
At any time, from the app or by emailing us. We will delete the record, the drafts, and the backups within 30 days, and confirm by email when it’s done.
Is there a free trial of the future paid tier?
Early access is the whole app, with nothing held back, for everyone, right now. Pricing details for after early access will be shared in plenty of time before they take effect.
